In the future

In the future things will be different to those in the present. Time means reconfiguration. And time means change. A few upset minds in the present don’t cause a future that is designed by those minds. Time and change can eat anger. Todays anger can be eaten up by time and change until its energy level is zero. Anger can be eaten up by the pure existence of presence. Revolution doesn’t necessarily hit or touch future. Revolution can be of no relevance to the future. Especially if it is made of irrelevant ideas and came from uninspired minds.

In the future, future happens. This future will be made of future only and not of past imaginations of the future. Some present ideas will change the future but then – when the future happens – the future will happen. And it will be presenting itself as the future. And people will be inspired and mind-blown in the face of the future. Because the future will definitely be very different from their previous imaginations.

This is the future. And in the future the future will happen. It will be a natural and gentle future for almost anyone because almost everyone will be dead who was thinking of the future a generation before. And this is why we die. Future needs us to die so that it always can establish itself in the young minds of new people. Because it has no time for the old people of today or for the old people of tomorrow. Future is the permanently renewable resource that feeds itself from the very and pure idea of raw existence.

The general human stupidity

updated in december 2018 and january 2019 Intelligence will develop its future states widely independent from its contemporary expressions of itself. Contemporary expresssions are created by the subjects of intelligence to test-drive certain possibilities. These real-life simulations will not define a global state but only test some parameters under certain circumstances and in specific environments. That’s because we are a result of an intelligent development and intelligent development is only establishing certain results of the simulation model for a certain amount of time (Darwin). Maybe we are intermediates of the evolutionary development and maybe some of our experiences are transferred to a next generation via our genome. Nevertheless, it seems to be a matter of fact, that all of our social expressions are based on the biological wiring of our brains and that all of the social input we receive is deriving from the content that has been created by people whose brains were mentally wired on a mostly biological basis as well. There is not such a “cultural” thing of a choice to say “we develop capitalism” or “we develop communism”. We are thrown into certain developments at certain times and these situations have been created by the through-time-wirings of our brains and the interrelated mutual inspiration processes based on communicational exchanges mediated by the sensors of our brains (senses like eyes, ears etc.). At best we can call this process anthropological, but because the process depends on and derives from processes that started billions of years earlier – with organism such as the paramecium, plants etc. – we have to call it evolutionary. There is – for example – no fundamental difference between so called “capitalism” and so called “communism”. It’s all the same human desire to materialize one’s mortal existence within a seemingly longer lasting form of matter (stones, buildings, societial human bodies etc.), which is – funnily – just a tiny and temporary extension of one’s existence – all within a just superirrelevantly different form of work organization and ownership concepts. (E.g.: In 2500 years archeologists will find almost no difference between the societies of todays USA or China, but quite the opposite – they will categorize these societies as extremely similar because the differences are only inside the minds but not within the material structure or infrastructure of these societies and all people who could express the differences will then be all dead and gone.) The only difference is between real democracy and totalitarism. And today it seems that this decision is also not made by humans but hits certain societies almost accidentally as a part of evolutionary simulation concepts. Democracy can also get lost in time. At the same time history proves that totalitarism will also be taken out of the equation as soon as it begins to set the superlimited intelligence of human minds as the final frontier without allowing further usual evolutionary development. Simple. Development expresses itself through us and we cannot develop ourselves independently from the wiring of our brains. Thus, all of our expressions are based on the certain infrastructure(s) of the brain. We cannot go beyond it. All of our thoughts are limited to the possibilities of expression of our mental cognitive infrastructure. [So, if another mental/biological infrastructure is possible in the universe – which seems to be very likely – there is a huge space for completely different thoughts, products, societies and ideas.] And although we have access to a huge amount of knowledge, we (unfortunately) don’t use it but very often only listen to the next aggressively shouting political campaign. Especially in a human era in which the term “fake news” is trending – intelligent minds should think about the fact what “truth” can really and actually be. Maybe there is no truth at all when it comes to our very limited space of perception and cognition. And maybe all of us are subject to a permanent but unknown process of  development and reconfiguration. And maybe all of our hate and of our wars only illustrate our limited cognitive abilities. Limited cognitive abilities that exist for a reason: To configure us in a simple and easy way so that we are always busy fighting against each other and do not ask intelligent questions about the general principle of development. Let’s use the right terms here: We’re talking about a general human stupidity. Stupidity is a quality assurance mechanism of evolution to get rid of useless ideas and to make sure that only strong and reliable concepts can develop a layout that can be applied to the next stage. And now let’s think about the things that are going on in the world in 2018, 2019 or 2020+: Cognitively – and except from technological developments, but definitely in politics – they are mostly on such a low level that an intelligent entity really needs to determine that it is in the wrong time, space, society, etc., etc. etc.. And it doesn’t know what it has done in the other interrelationship or space to deserve being thrown into such a cognitively limited and simple interrelational existence, here on planet earth. This is because things are subject to heavy transformation right now. And the agora is filled with yelling people of all kind. And the administrative people do not have any ideas of how to create a working future. Let’s hope wars will not fill the empty cognitive spaces like they did over a zillion years. Let’s hope for at least a few intelligent people who are not interested in the usual power play but are aware and able to develop a possible future.

Truth, fake news, power, abuse and responsibility in time

Ok,

every person wakes up on one special day. Her or his consciousness begins to see the world with new eyes. Before the wake-up-process every human entity is subject to learning and listening but suddenly his or her mind begins to analyze things differently.

The mind begins to see things more clearly and understands that not every “truth” that hits the mind is actually true but only an opinion expressed by a temporary entity of expression. The mind understands that these people who try to tell you something can be wrong because it’s only their opinion. – And that it doesn’t matter if they belong to a huge corporation or institution because the fact that social entities or institutions are rich or big is not a proof that they are true and intelligent.

Of course such false information one is confronted with is less likely to come from sciences like physics or math than from fields which are much more subject to interpretation, ideology and subjectivity – such as politics, humanities or their derivatives like the popular press or media which – today – only and in very rare cases have the cognitive abilities to perform the tasks they are pretending to perform.

Fake News

Fake news are as old as humanity. These news have always been a usual tool of misinformation in order to achieve strategical goals. They were used by all parties that were involved in a conflict at all times. And in many cases the one who loudly shouts out “Fake!” is a propagator of misinformation oneself.

The term “Fake News” is something that we know from all those extinct kingdoms, as a form of manipulation used in all these wars humankind went through. Sometimes it’s the way old-fashioned intelligences that are not able to modify or transform their concepts of thinking use to helplessly express their forlornness in time. Sometimes it’s used by people who want to enforce new societal concepts to trick people into certain forms of behaviour or thinking.

That this term and the concept of this term is propagated so intensively over the recent years and today is an indicator that global political balance has become a little more instable. It is an indicator that things are subject to change and that traditional certainties regarding political systems, power distribution, alliances or stability are subject to reconfiguration.

Undoubtedly this is a form of evolutionary driven transformation based on massive technological revolutions and limited cognitive abilities of humans to moderate such periods of heavy shifts.

Thus, to shout “Fake!” is not only a form of manipulation but also a very strong indicator of helplessness. And if you begin to need to use this term as an argument, your own concept for the future may be pulpy and instable as well.

A tiger and People who don't know about themselves

The Cognitive Cage (of perception)

[draft, subject to trans-formation, written in 2015, updated in 2018]

All the fights between people on this planet can be explained by the cognitive cage. The cognitive cage is a room that no intelligent and no non-intelligent person can leave.

While being inside its cognitive cage – it can be a king or a queen or a chancellor – one can only act in the cage. There is no possibility to relevantly act outside of this cage. The cage is holding back every creative idea or intelligent thought about how problems can be thought and solved on the outside.

The cognitive cage is a form of evolutionary communication. It only allows formations and transformations that belong to the expressive room inside the cage. Therefore, some global, regional or private relevant problems cannot be addressed.

a dog behind a fence

The cognitive cage is very much related to ideology. Ideology only allows for some ideas to follow or communicate their specific form of expression. At the same time many other forms of perception or opinion are not allowed to express their thoughts. This is about Power – societies that are due to power broadly do not accept other opinions and perceptions – because they’re in their own cage (of perception) as well.

After the very introduction of shared mental perceptions and highly cognitive understandings, individuals began to establish their own perceptions and ideas of the best society and the best world very fast. This way democracy began to be defined as something one can influence on the basis of his or her single-power – in his or her lifetime – on the basis of her or his ideas.

Then it turned out that the contribution of people actually could improve democracy – the strenght of a society – and that these people need to be heard and talked to in order to maintain a successful democracy. But most of the times these influentual people stand outside the cage and cannot be heard on the inside.

If the differences between those inside and those outside of the cage become unsolvable a war or revolution takes place. The only result of this is the death of many innocent people and a change to who is in and who is outside of the cage. This is the very inspiration of evolution: It changes societies but it doesn’t change interdependencies profoundly.

Communication is a powerful tool of exchange while ideology is a violent piece of hatred and war. Maybe communication actually can add something like an interface to cognitive cages, although this is not yet clear and not yet scientifically understood. But: As long as ideology is still understood as something that can change the world in an improving manner, world won’t get better in no way. Ideology and democracy (the aspect of communication in the meaning of exchange) are not similar. In fact, they stand on opposite sides of the possibilites that can create future.

Ideology – on either side – is the enemy of intercultural communications as well as it is the enemy of communication and communicative exchange at all. People blinded by ideology – not: ideas / ἰδέα or idealism – will in no way be able to shape the future world in a positive manner at all. Ideology very often carries hatred and hatred will unfold its bad taste across the world very fast.

The world needs ideas and visions and agoras to talk about these ideas on an equal and shared basis. This way Greece is much more than only a basic and relevant basis of European Culture. It has been the past and it will be the future.

A human and a human and a human is still a human

From within 2017 and 2018 and beyond

In 2017, 2018 and + the world is crazy again. There are so many transformations and shifts and so many proven and reliable conditions are subject to reconfiguration. This is a usual process and it happens at least every 3-5 decades. It is a process of accelerated speed and transitions.

Especially in politics so many people from all political orientations in so many countries are upset, in anger or even beginning to be violent – as if this is the end of the world and there will be no future.

In a way it is funny to observe and watch these developments because it is very clear that there will be a future and that there will be other political developments and that this is (probably) not the end.

Especially radical left-wing and radical right-wing movements behave and communicate as if the world is burning and as if the planet is about to explode. – Well, the planet is quite ok. The recent centuries brought basic riches to so many people all across the globe – regarding economics, health, communications and participation. But finally, there is still so much suffering.

Nevertheless, small steps are steadily taken and the world is becoming better and better bit by bit. It might not be a totally wrong bet to assume that today human rights are applied on a global scale like never ever before.

But still: Many people do not feel belonging – in some cases because of ineffective economical and societal structures and in many cases because of insufficient societal and political management processes.

Today, many governmental strategies are still based on ideological theories that do not relate to the real problems of the real people in real societies. So many people still think that the world is a doll house that can be transformed into a completely new state of being by only thinking of a new world or by only fighting for a new idea.

But yes, the world is old. And humanity is old. It doesn’t change because some radical minds want it to change. Change is a process of time, it is a self-proving process of reliablity and certainty. If one wants to make the world a better place it is probably better to listen to the people and their needs instead of trying to implement fantastical concepts about a potentially glamorous future that have almost no correlations with the real world and the real people.

There might be so much excitement about the future of societies and there is so much neediness regarding change at the moment but things will develop slowly and not every aspect that stands out and appears to be important today will be a part of the life of tomorrow.

Things will change on a steady basis and there are two different ways of fast pace: The one that succeeds and the one that gets lost. To capably deal with the actuality of societies is a great challenge already. Time shows that sudden artificial changes are destabilizing societies in many cases. This is why extremists of any couleur are taken out of the equation on a regular basis: They belong to the category of fast pace that gets lost.

For about 3 million years – since the invention of the acheulean hand axe – we haven’t changed very much. We still live on the same planet, we still use rocks, stones, ores, sand or (lately) rare-earth elements for our housings or technologies. We still reproduce biologically, we’re still having disputes about the most simple matters, we still kill each other in order to achieve something, we still do not know why we are here and alive, we still wander around in almost complete intellectual darkness.

So – what to say about 2017 and beyond? Maybe humanity will  take the next very big step soon – the first big step after the acheulean hand axe. Maybe humanity will develop a self-conscious machine intelligence. Well, this would definitely change things. This would be the first new development in 3 million years. Perhaps this was and is our purpose. Perhaps this was the reason why billions of people were born into this world, walked over this world, gave their energies into the process and were replaced on a consecutive basis:

To accumulate knowledge* and to finally create a new species that is able to go further than us – intellectually and on a long-term basis – without the huge amount of burned ressources that are typical for humans and their silly fights – when even the tiniest steps consume disproportionate amounts of ressources.

– – – – – – – – –

*
Well, maybe in 1848 Marx and Engels were right with their idea about the accumulation of money and ressources and their concept that one part of humanity stands against the other. But of course they were not factually right because even in 1848 there was sufficient scientific, social and anthropological data, that this is not the “final” or most important conflict and that the line of interhuman conflicts is shifting on a daily basis. There was an inappropriate and inhuman treatment of workers but this was a specific effect of this time that they effectively helped to lower, yes, but the mass murder that was following their radical ideas was more than just a “contrary” effect and its destructive ideology is hurting or even killing millions of people until today.

Almost the whole 20th century (communism, fascism, Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and other stuff like this) was an intellectual loss, except from the introduction and establishment of the binary concept of computation and some very inspired ideas from the 1900s to the 1920s.

It’s a pity that we who live in the early years of the 21st century still have to live in and to suffer from the shadows of already lost and disproved ideas of the mostly dark 20th century. It is even worse that these shadows still infect so many people all around the globe with their negative and destructive intellectual poorness.

All in all we’re standing at the threshold of a bright new century. And some of us already managed to step over this threshold. From this point of view it is a better idea to live in areas of the world where the new world is understood as a possibility, instead of living in parts of the world that still try to suck in the old and used air of yesterday. (Such as.., well, you know)
